　　1.不忘初心，方得始终。中国共产党人的初心和使命，就是为中国人民谋幸福，为中华民族谋复兴。
　　Never forget why you started, andyou can accomplish your mission. Theoriginal aspiration and the mission ofChinese Communists is to seekhappiness for the Chinese people andrejuvenation for the Chinese nation.
　　2.我国社会主要矛盾已经转化为人民日益增长的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾。
　　The principal contradiction facingChinese society has evolved. What wenow face is the contradiction betweenunbalanced and inadequate developmentand the people's ever-growing needsfor a better life.
　　3.行百里者半九十。中华民族伟大复兴，绝不是轻轻松松、敲锣打鼓就能实现的。
　　As the Chinese saying goes, thelast leg of a journey just marks thehalfway point. Achieving nationalrejuvenation will be no walk in thepark; it will take more than drumbeating and gong clanging to get there.
　　4.党政军民学，东西南北中，党是领导一切的。
　　The Party exercises overallleadership over all areas of endeavor inevery part of the country.
　　5.确保国家粮食安全，把中国人的饭碗牢牢端在自己手中。
　　We must ensure China's foodsecurity so that we always have controlover our own food supply.
　　6.坚持房子是用来住的、不是用来炒的定位，加快建立多主体供给、多渠道保障、租购并举的住房制度，让全体人民住有所居。
　　We must not forget that housing isfor living in, not for speculation. Withthis in mind, we will move faster toput in place a housing system thatensures supply through multiplesources, provides housing supportthrough multiple channels, andencourages both housing purchase and
renting. This will make us betterplaced to meet the housing needs ofall of our people.
　　7.我们绝不允许任何人、任何组织、任何政党、在任何时候、以任何形式、把任何一块中国领土从中国分裂出去！
　　We will never allow anyone, anyorganization, or any political party, atany time or in any form, to separateany part of Chinese territory from China.
　　8.中国坚持对外开放的基本国策，坚持打开国门搞建设，积极促进“一带一路”国际合作，努力实现政策沟通、设施联通、贸易畅通、资金融通、民心相通，打造国际合作新平台，增添共同发展新动力。
　　China adheres to the fundamentalnational policy of opening up andpursues development with its doorsopen wide. China will actively promoteinternational cooperation through theBelt and Road Initiative. In doing so,we hope to achieve policy,infrastructure, trade, financial, andpeople-to-people connectivity and thusbuild a new platform for internationalcooperation to create new drivers ofshared development.
　　9.要加强对权力运行的制约和监督，让人民监督权力，让权力在阳光下运行，把权力关进制度的笼子。
　　We must strengthen checks on andoversight over the exercise of power,and ensure that power is exercisedunder public oversight, in broaddaylight, and in an institutional cage.
　　10.历史只会眷顾坚定者、奋进者、搏击者，而不会等待犹豫者、懈怠者、畏难者。全党一定要保持艰苦奋斗、戒骄戒躁的作风，以时不我待、只争朝夕的精神，奋力走好新时代的长征路。
　　History looks kindly on those withresolve, with drive and ambition, andwith plenty of guts; it won't wait forthe hesitant, the apathetic, or those shyof a challenge. All of us in the Partymust work hard and live simply, guardagainst arrogance and impetuosity; andlose no time in progressing along thelong march of the new era.
